The Cathedral

The St Etienne’s Cathedral (La Cathédrale de St Etienne, in French), with its Gothic style architecture from the 12th century, joins the UNESCO world heritage sites list in 1992. The building is filled with various paintings and adorned with carved stones displaying chapters of the Bible, as well as stained glass windows casting light upon the interiors of the Cathedral. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens open to visitors.

The Marshes (Les marais, in French)

Fancy a little boat trip between two tours in the city? Pack your camera and embark on a journey to discover 140 hectares dedicated to nature. Bourges' Spring Festival
